Your True Story: a CD, Book or DVD

Audio CD

Since our storytelling process usually begins with one or more digitally-recorded interviews, we can copy these interviews onto an audio CD for you to keep and listen to whenever you like.

Before we burn your CD, we can edit the raw interviews, and add music, sound effects or narration. Then you can listen to the CD at home or in your car, and copy it to a computer or a digital audio player such as an iPod.

Audio stories fire our imagination, bringing history to life through "sound pictures". And hearing the recorded voices of present or former friends, relatives and colleagues can be a surprisingly powerful experience.

An audio CD is the least expensive way to produce a lasting record of your personal, business or club story.

Books

A book is the most traditional way of recording history, combining text with images to produce a powerful, tactile and long-lasting chronicle.

True Story can produce single or multiple copies of your personal or corporate history book, written by an expert storyteller, designed by a professional art director, and bound in a material of your choice.

Pricing is dependent on the complexity of the task and the availability of information, but we make every effort to keep costs low and tailor the book's production to your budget.

DVD

Having your personal or business story recorded on DVD is like starring in your own episode of Australian Story.

We combine the best moments from on-camera interviews, fly-on-the-wall moments (of subjects going about their everyday business), and previously recorded video or photographs to produce a professional looking video documentary on DVD or VHS video.

Hearing a loved one or colleague talk (sometimes with a little exaggeration on their part) combined with images of their personal or business life is a wonderful way to experience their story.

We can use graphics to show locations and journeys, we can scan in handwritten letters, recipes, documents and newspaper cuttings to bring the DVD to life.

This is our premium story format, with prices dependant on the complexity and length of the finished program.
